here’s the quick QA demo script Replit can follow, then we’ll jam on the AI section.

1-Minute QA Demo Script

Goal: Prove the streamlined UI + context-aware AI works end-to-end without confusion.

Open Builder

Click Business Plan Builder.

Confirm left panel shows 12 default sections.

Enter Business Brief (top sticky bar)

Company: “IBrandBiz”

Model: “Global SaaS + Web Services”

Offerings: “Brand tools; Business Plan Template; Domains & Web Hosting”

Market: “Entrepreneurs & SMEs (global)”

Edge: “Integrated startup toolkit + hosting; partner marketing”

Save auto/confirms.

Open Executive Summary

Lands directly in Editor (no “Editor” tab).

Inline AI Assist is visible with Tone = Professional.

Click Generate.

Validate AI Output

Output references IBrandBiz, SaaS/hosting model, offerings, and 2025–2027 headline numbers.

Click Save to Document → shows “Saved • timestamp”.

Market Analysis widgets

Open Market Analysis.

Confirm Structured Templates (SWOT/PESTEL) are present here only.

Fill 1–2 SWOT fields → Add to Market Analysis inserts bullets into the section. Save.

Previews

Click Section Preview inside Market Analysis → see formatted section.

Click top-right Preview Full Document → see compiled plan in left-panel order.

Export

Export DOCX → contents match the full preview.

✔ If all above passes, the flow is good.

AI Section — How it should work (clear + simple)
Inputs the AI must use (in this order)

Business Brief (plan-level context)

User’s current editor text (if present)

Section Base Prompt (prewritten, section-specific)

FinalPrompt = BusinessBrief + SectionBasePrompt + UserEditorText?
(If Editor empty → just Brief + Base Prompt. If Brief empty → Base Prompt only.)

Controls (visible, minimal)

Tone: Professional (default), Bold, Friendly, Minimal

Length: Short (~120–160w), Standard (~200–300w), Long (~350–500w)

Actions:

Generate (from context)

Rephrase (keep meaning, change style)

Expand (add detail/bullets)

Summarize (tighten)

UX details that make it “feel right”

Inline AI bar under the editor (not hidden at bottom).

Saved state after Generate/Rephrase/Save (“Saved • 2:41 PM”).

History chip: “View previous version” (single undo stack is fine).

Show Prompt (Debug) toggle for us/admins only to verify the prompt.

Polite guardrails:

If Brief is empty, nudge: “Add your Business Brief for better results.”

If section already has content, Generate asks “Replace or Append?”

Acceptance for AI output (per section)

Mentions real Company and Model from Brief.

Correct offerings/LOBs and target market.

No bracket placeholders like [Company Name].

Executive Summary: uses Launch/Growth/Scale phrasing when a financial headline exists.

Tone matches selection; length matches control.

Nice-to-have (not blocking)

Global Plan Brief appears collapsed at top; “Apply to all sections.”

Auto-anchor numbers: if Financial headline is present, inject it in Exec Summary + Financial Plan.

Rate-limit friendly: small spinner + “Draft ready in a moment” text; streaming text optional.
